This segment runs from the South Park Blocks at Portland State University to the Tilikum Crossing Bridge in South Waterfront. It runs through the South Auditorium District and completes Lawrence Halprin’s vision by linking the park blocks to the Willamette River using a separated path. This part of the loop is defined by a more mid-century character to the older buildings and a fairly extensive green canopy created by generous buidling setbacks. It is also the segment that feels most trail-like as it travels off-street for much of its length.
